Nothing Phone 3a Series launch live: Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro debut in India

Nothing has officially launched its Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models in India, introducing notable enhancements in design, performance, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration.

Design and Display

Both devices feature a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. The design maintains Nothing's signature translucent back panel, complemented by the unique Glyph Interface, which offers customizable LED notifications.

Performance

Under the hood, the phones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This combination promises efficient performance for multitasking and gaming.

Camera

The Phone (3a) is equipped with a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The Phone (3a) Pro enhances this with a triple-camera system: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Both models support advanced AI-driven photography features, enabling users to capture high-quality images in various lighting conditions.

Battery and Charging

A robust 5,000mAh battery powers both devices, supporting 50W wired fast charging. According to Nothing, this allows the phones to charge from 0 to 100% in approximately 56 minutes.

Software and AI Integration

Running on Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15, the new phones introduce "Essential Space," an AI-driven feature that organizes digital content such as screenshots, voice memos, and photos. This innovation aims to enhance user experience by simplifying content management.

Pricing and Availability

In India, the Phone (3a) starts at ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the Phone (3a) Pro begins at ₹27,999 for the same configuration. Pre-orders commence on March 4, with official sales starting on March 11 for the Phone (3a) and March 15 for the Phone (3a) Pro. Both models will be available through Flipkart and select retail stores.
