Technology firm Nothing has announced the rollout of a new Camera Capture feature for Essential Space on its Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro. The update is available through the Google Play Store and introduces an AI-powered tool that enables users to extract key information from images captured using the device’s camera.

The latest update allows users to press the Essential Key on the side of the Nothing Phone 3a series while using the camera app to quickly capture relevant information. Unlike standard photos stored in the device’s gallery, images taken through Camera Capture are saved exclusively within Essential Space, the company confirmed.

Nothing plans to expand Essential Space with additional capabilities in the coming months, including Flip to Record, Focused Search, and Smart Collections.

To access Camera Capture, users must install the latest Essential Space update from the Google Play Store and ensure their devices are running Nothing OS 3.1. The rollout is occurring in phases, and users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > System Updates.

The update also includes enhancements to the camera system and always-on display (AOD) functionality.

The Nothing Phone 3a is available at Rs 24,999, featuring a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 50MP dual-camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Nothing Phone 3a Pro, priced at Rs 29,999, offers similar specifications with an additional 8MP rear camera and up to 12GB RAM. Both models run on Android 15 and come in multiple storage configurations.
