Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, in India. Initially unveiled globally in April alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, the Ultra variant is now poised for its Indian debut. Notable features of the upcoming device include the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and a robust 4,500mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless fast charging.
The teaser shared by the Motorola India handle on X (formerly Twitter) offers a glimpse of the smartphone's rear panel, showcasing a distinctive wood-textured design. This confirms that the device is indeed the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, specifically the Nordic Wood variant.
In terms of specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Running on Android 14-based Hello UI, it boasts a 6.7-inch 144Hz full-HD+ pOLED display.
Camera-wise, the device features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, another 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter offering up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, there's a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
