Microsoft is rolling out Copilot Plus PC features across a wider range of devices, extending support beyond Qualcomm-powered systems to include AMD Ryzen AI 300 series and Intel Core Ultra 200V processors. The expansion brings advanced tools such as Live Captions, Cocreator in Paint, Restyle Image, and Image Creator to more users. Additionally, enhanced Voice Access capabilities will debut on Snapdragon X Series devices before extending to other platforms later this year.

The Live Captions feature, previously exclusive to Snapdragon X Series devices, is now accessible on Copilot Plus PCs with AMD and Intel chips. This tool provides real-time English translations for spoken content across video calls, podcasts, and media playback. Additionally, Microsoft is expanding language support, with Simplified Chinese set to be added soon.

Cocreator, now available on Copilot Plus PCs running AMD and Intel processors, integrates AI-driven digital art tools into the Paint app. Users can generate visuals by combining freehand sketches with text prompts, enabling the creation of detailed images, custom designs, and refined artwork.

The Windows Photos app gains two AI-powered enhancements:

- Restyle Image converts standard photos into artistic renderings, offering styles such as oil paintings and modern sketches.

- Image Creator generates visuals based on text descriptions, making it ideal for personalized artwork, marketing materials, and storytelling.

Users must update the Paint and Photos applications via the Microsoft Store to access these features.

Copilot Plus PCs with Snapdragon X Series processors will receive an improved Voice Access update, enabling more natural and intuitive speech-based interactions. Unlike earlier versions requiring predefined commands, the new system allows flexible phrasing. Later this year, the feature will expand to include AMD and Intel-powered devices. Additionally, this marks the first Voice Access update utilizing the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in Copilot Plus PCs.

The latest Copilot Plus PC features are included in the March 2025 Windows non-security preview update. To install, users must first ensure their system has the November 2024 non-security preview update. These enhancements will be distributed gradually through Microsoft’s controlled feature rollout (CFR) system. Eligible users can opt into early access by enabling "Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available" under Settings > Windows Update and manually checking for updates.
