Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman Throws Light on Number One Priority
Since the last two years, Microsoft has been hell-bent on developments related to artificial intelligence. However, Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman said it's not the company’s top priority. As per an interview with The Verge, Suleyman said that security is the top priority and “genuinely like a number one focus for the company.”
In the last 12 months, there have been quite a few high-profile security lapses at Microsoft. Suleyman said that he sits with various heads of the companies to discuss the top priority, which is security.
“No customer demand, no amount of revenue. It is the first thing that everybody asks,” he told The Verge.
Before joining Microsoft, Suleyman was the co-founder of DeepMind. It was acquired by Google in 2014. He has also worked for Google and Greylock in the past.
