Meta Verified provides a subscription service designed to enhance a business's credibility with new audiences, resulting in increased engagement and brand growth.
Since its introduction, many across the globe have subscribed to the verified feature to protect from impersonation and increase brand discovery.
Moreover, companies enrolled in Meta Verified will gain access to improved account support and enable their staff to utilize WhatsApp across multiple devices.
Meta introduced its verified feature to creators in March 2023 and extended it to businesses in September of the same year.
In addition, Meta introduced other product updates like AI Tools and the Call a Business update.
AI tools aid verified businesses on WhatsApp in engaging their customers with new products they might find interesting.
Meta is training AI to respond to common queries on WhatsApp, helping customers find answers quickly.
Additionally, it is integrating AI to help businesses create ads on Facebook and Instagram. These ads inform customers about products left in their cart and may include discount offers.
The Call a Business feature enables users to make calls to large businesses via WhatsApp using APIs, such as travel requests or opening a new account with banks.
This functionality will allow users to contact customer support in a manner similar to traditional phone calls but within the app itself.
The American technology company has just started testing this feature, and it will be rolled out to users in the coming months.Meta, Facebook, Meta Verified, WhatsApp, Instagram, AI Tools, APIs
