An industry analyst, as reported by 9to5Mac, suggests that the release of Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max may face delays due to Sony's inability to meet the demand for camera components.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to feature an exclusive periscope lens system, setting it apart from other variants like the iPhone 15, iPhone Plus, and iPhone 15 Pro. Consequently, these other versions are expected to hit the market first.
Speculation indicates that Apple may announce the iPhone 15 event on either September 12 or September 13. Given Apple's usual practice of shipping orders within a week of the launch event, this delay could potentially push iPhone 15 Pro Max orders into October.
Earlier reports also suggested September 13 as the probable event date. Notably, U.S. mobile carriers have reportedly advised their employees not to schedule vacations on September 13, hinting at a significant smartphone announcement.
While this doesn't definitively confirm Apple as the source of the announcement, the Cupertino-based tech giant traditionally unveils new iPhones in September.
