Jio Unveils Rs 601 Voucher for Unlimited 5G: How to Activate and Benefits Explained

Reliance Jio has unveiled a new offer for prepaid customers, enabling unlimited 5G data access for a year at Rs 601. However, this upgrade is exclusively available to users on the Rs 299 plan or higher.

Subscribers on Jio’s Rs 299 prepaid plan, which includes 1.5 GB of daily data, can activate the Rs 601 voucher to unlock unlimited 5G data for a full year. This offer is also open to users who have not yet transitioned to 5G.

How to Activate the Rs 601 Voucher

The Rs 601 voucher can be purchased via the MyJio app or Jio’s official website. Customers can activate the plan digitally with ease. Additionally, the voucher can be shared as a gift for eligible friends or family members subscribed to plans of Rs 299 or above.

This move by Reliance Jio comes as competitors like Airtel continue to offer similar benefits. For instance, Airtel’s Rs 398 plan includes a Disney+ Hotstar subscription for 28 days, catering to a similar audience.

Jio’s new initiative aims to provide an edge by lowering the cost barrier to 5G connectivity and targeting heavy data users.

To address diverse user requirements, Jio introduced booster packs priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151, providing additional 4G data alongside unlimited 5G access. The Rs 601 voucher complements these options by offering an extended solution for high-speed connectivity.
