iPhone 17 Series Leaks: Ming-Chi Kuo Reveals unchanged Dynamic Island Design

The iPhone 17 lineup may not feature significant changes to the Dynamic Island, a market analyst claimed. The report contradicts earlier speculation suggesting that Apple would reduce the size of the feature.

TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said on X that the size of Dynamic Island would remain “largely unchanged” across the iPhone 17 series. However, he didn’t provide additional details about the new range of devices.

The prediction challenges earlier claims from July 2024 by Jeff Pu of Haitong International Tech Research, who highlighted that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would employ advanced "metalens" technology.

Previously, Apple unveiled the Dynamic Island with the iPhone 14 Pro series, which replaced the traditional display notch found on earlier models.

As per reports, Apple may focus on a complete revamp in future iPhones, thereby relocating components under display. Users will be required to wait for a year for a smaller Dynamic Island.

iPhone SE 4 is expected to adopt Dynamic Island design, which is different from the display notch seen in the current SE model. As per the leaks, the budget-friendly device will be similar to iPhone 14’s design while incorporating enhanced camera, processor, and display upgrades.
