Apple has now formally taken the iPhone SE 3, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 plus off of its online stores in various EU regions. This move is in line with the EU's recent orders that all smartphones with wired charging capabilities must switch to a USB-C port. As an aside, the UK is not affected by this rule — they left the EU back in 2020. But Northern Ireland, which follows EU single market rules, is covered by the regulation.

The removal applies to individual countries, as well, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden, as well as other areas linked to the E.U.’s single market, like Switzerland. Since Apple cannot comply with this regulation, it results in the models suddenly disappearing from Apple's online platforms, according to reports.That said, a few physical stores and authorized resellers could have a few pieces in stock for at least a small period of time.
