iOS 18.4 Beta 2: Here's What Is New

Apple has released the second beta of iOS 18.4, bringing several exciting new features to the iPhone 15 lineup. The update, which is currently available to developers and beta testers, includes visual intelligence, new emojis, and priority notifications, among other enhancements.
What's new in the rollout
One of the most significant new features in iOS 18.4 Beta 2 is visual intelligence. This feature, which was initially exclusive to the iPhone 16 lineup, will now allow other users to perform visual searches using AI, connected to Google and ChatGPT. In fact, now this feature can be accessed via the Action button and control center.
Emoji fans will be thrilled to see that iOS 18.4 beta 2 includes seven new emojis, such as a face with bags around the eyes, a fingerprint, a leafless tree, and even a harp. While the rise of Genmoji in the iOS environment may make default emoji appear less significant, these new additions nonetheless offer some fun to communicate.
The update also introduces priority notifications, a feature that allows users to customize their notification experience. With priority notifications, users can designate specific contacts or apps as "priority," ensuring that their notifications appear at the top of the Notification Center.
In addition to these major features, iOS 18.4 Beta 2 includes several other enhancements, including:
- Control Center
- Apple Vision Pro App
- New Shortcut Actions
- Wallet App
- Apple Map EV Routing
Though there is no official information about the final version, we will soon have much more details about everything new in iOS 18.4. For the time being, just wait for it.
