Infinix to launch NOTE 50s 5G+ with unique aroma-diffusing ability, called “Phone Energising Scent-Tech"

In a bold move that’s set to redefine the smartphone experience, Infinix is gearing up to launch its latest model — the Infinix NOTE 50s 5G+ — with an unexpected twist: it will double as a perfume diffuser.

While brands like Motorola have previously added scented packaging to appeal to their fans, Infinix is taking things a step further by integrating fragrance technology directly into the device. The feature, called “Phone Energising Scent-Tech,” enables the phone to emit a pleasant aroma during use — creating a multi-sensory user experience unlike any other.

Aromatic Innovation

The scent comes courtesy of microencapsulation technology built into the vegan leather back panel of the phone. Specifically, the Mari Drift Blue variant will house this innovative feature, releasing the fragrance based on user interaction with the device. Two other colour variants — Ruby Red and Titanium Gray — will also be available, though without the scent-tech.
