Hyderabad: Eight in 10 (88 per cent) of Hyderabadis believe that equal contribution from their partners during festive season planning is important, reflecting a modern perspective on romance grounded in collaboration, revealed a survey by Bumble, an online dating and networking platform.

While festive planning has traditionally been led by women in India, perspectives are changing, according to the survey, wherein 53 per cent of people surveyed in Hyderabad like the prospect of both partners equally contributing to festive season activities with 56 per cent viewing it as a way to bond and a further 30 per cent who are open to equal contributions, recognising that some adjustments may be necessary along the way.

Pracheta Mazumdar, Senior Marketing Manager - India, Bumble, said: “As the festive season approaches, shared responsibilities are becoming increasingly important in relationships”.
