Honor is set to introduce the Honor X9b 5G smartphone in the Indian market on February 15, with the company asserting that this launch will bring an end to the era of tempered glass. While the smartphone is already available globally, it is anticipated to be priced between 30,000 and 35,000 in India.
The Honor X9b is expected to come equipped with India's first Ultra Bounce display, featuring 'Airbag' technology, as disclosed on X (formerly Twitter). The smartphone, listed on Amazon, reveals that the Indian variant could boast 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and may be offered in a striking Sunrise Orange color variant.
Furthermore, the Amazon listing suggests a combo offer for the Honor X9b in India, bundling Honor Choice Earbuds X5E and a 12-month screen and back cover warranty. Operating on the Android 13 system, the device might be exclusively available on Amazon, similar to the Honor 90 5G.
In terms of specifications, the global variant of the Honor X9b features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200 × 2652 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with the Adreno 710 GPU, the smartphone is geared for graphics-intensive tasks.
The camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor, a 5MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP Macro lens, while a 16MP front-facing shooter caters to selfie and video call needs. The device houses a robust 5,800mAh battery, supporting fast charging via a 35W charger included in the package. With its potential release in India, the Honor X9b seeks to make a mark in the competitive smartphone market.
