Hyderabad: Hesa, a Hyderabad-based tech startup, has secured $2 million as part of its seed funding round led by Venture Catalysts and also from nine unicorns. The investment is to scale up its operations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka States and also to scale up the technology.
The startup is a commerce platform that provides physical, digital and social connect to rural India. It unifies value chains in rural India by enabling local brands and businesses to come together as a community.
Hesa is one-stop-solution for corporates, agritech and fintech startups, SMEs, banks and financial institutions, government and NGOs who want to access 850 million people in rural India, for their go-to-market and buy-sell propositions including brand promotions and social responsibilities.
