Hackathon winners win real world problems
Hackathon winners focused on tracking and tracing resources during the HackAP Hackathon held here recently at Andhra University Incubation Centre have solved real world-problems to make a remarkable beginning.

Visakhapatnam Hackathon winners focused on tracking and tracing resources during the HackAP Hackathon held here recently at Andhra University Incubation Centre have solved real world-problems to make a remarkable beginning.
Andhra University Incubation Center (a-Hub). Alcove Partners, TiE and NASSCOM hosted the first of a series of Hackathons this weekend with the theme 'Track and Trace'. Participating teams worked on their solutions online and continued developing their solutions at a-Hub. More than 73 teams and 200 plus people including students and working professionals took part in the event.
All the problems in this hackathon were directly from various industries looking for a solution. The industries include a major port, a reputed shipping company, a software design company and a large logistics company.
"I liked this hackathon a lot, this is my first hackathon and the problem statement from various industries helped us to acquire good knowledge," said P. Sasank Raj, a student from Andhra University College of Engineering.
Sharing his views, A. Sukumar, another participant from VIT AP said "it was a splendid event."
Winners of the November 2022 HackAP-Track and Trace Hackathon were given prizes by Registrar of Andhra University Prof. V. Krishna Mohan.
The winning teams (dominated by VIT AP) and some active participants were also awarded by The Digifac and InterviewBuddy.
Addressing the participants at the inaugural, Ravi Eswarapu , CEO of ā-Hub, told them about how innovation was being encouraged in Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas by the leadership of Andhra University.
Dr. Deepak Madala, Director of Alcove Partners, Anudeep Chappa, Executive Director of TiE AP and Kalyan Mangalapalli (NASSCOM) Director Center of Excellence-IoT and AI at NASSCOM in Vizag participated.
