Google has officially begun rolling out the first public beta of Android 16, currently available exclusively for the latest Google Pixel models. The public release of Android 16 is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2025.

Key Features of Android 16 Beta

Apps can display custom icons showcasing activity progress.

Dynamic Lockscreen Notifications:

Apps must now support resizable windows for full-screen use on tablets and foldable devices.
