Reports suggest that the Pixel 9a will debut sooner than anticipated, indicating that Google might not introduce a new device at the Google I/O 2025 event.
The anticipated launch date of March 26 for the Pixel 9a series represents a departure from Google's traditional May release timeline.

However, the term “budget-friendly” is subjective since Google’s affordable phones still end up costing a lot of money. The Pixel 8a came in at a starting price of Rs 52,999 in India. In fact, the upcoming Pixel 9a will also reportedly have the same starting price as the Pixel 8a in the US, which is $499 for the 128GB model. The 256GB version is tipped to cost a bit higher, at $599.
