Samsung has introduced the Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) feature for Galaxy Watches in India, enhancing the heart health monitoring capabilities of the Samsung Health Monitor app.

This feature is now available on the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch6, Watch5, and Watch4 series.

To activate IHRN, users need to update the Samsung Health Monitor app through the Galaxy Store and enable the feature in the app’s settings.

Once activated, IHRN continuously monitors heart rhythms using the BioActive Sensor.

If it detects a pattern suggestive of atrial fibrillation (AFib), it alerts users and recommends performing an ECG for a more accurate assessment.

This addition builds on the watch's existing Blood Pressure and Heart Rate monitoring functions, providing users with a more comprehensive view of their cardiovascular health.
