Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event 2025: Galaxy Ring 2 Launch Can Be Expected

Samsung is gearing up to announce the launch of the second generation of its smart ring, the Galaxy Ring 2, alongside the Galaxy S25 series during the Galaxy Unpacked Event on January 22, 2025.

This new smart ring is projected to include various enhancements, including a slimmer design, greater battery life, and new capabilities. This move aims to better compete with rival Oura Ring, which now provides rings in sizes 4 through 15. However, Samsung's expertise in the wearable technology space and its commitment to innovation may give the Galaxy Ring 2 an edge in the market.

According to the report, the new smart ring will include better health sensors for greater accuracy and broader AI capabilities, as well as a battery life of at least one week across all size variants. Nonetheless, there is no confirmation of NFC capability for the gadget.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, which will be the star of the event, is reported to feature an AI agent powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite processor. In addition, the brand will also use the event to showcase its first AR smart glasses. This product is developed in collaboration with Qualcomm and Google and is expected to weigh approximately 50 grams and will integrate Google's Gemini AI model.
