Samsung aims to surpass 100 million Galaxy A series unit sales this year.

Samsung is a smartphone maker. Samsung hopes to surpass 100 million Galaxy A series unit sales in India this year, as it increases its range by launching two models that are new A56 and A36 both of which come with three different variants A senior official at Samsung told reporters on Monday.

Samsung India Mobile Experience Vice President Aditya Babbar said the new A series phones will be produced in India.

Babbar stated that, as per Counterpoint Research, last year, Samsung was an absolute top performer in the price ranges between Rs25,000 and around Rs50,000, in which Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A 36 are currently in development and anticipates that it will continue to lead in the same price range.

Samsung has introduced three versions of the Galaxy A56 in the net effective price range of 41,999-Rs 44,999 per unit and the top model featuring 12 GB of system memory and 256 GB of internal storage.

The three models available for Galaxy A 36 have been priced from Rs32,999 up to 35,999. "Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Samsung Galaxy A36 5G measure just 7.4 mm in thickness. There are lots of segments first appearing via the phone. We are bringing AI in these phones," Babbar stated.

Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G smartphones feature a triple camera system featuring 50-MP main lens. Both phones boast dust/water resistance with IP67 ratings to ensure reliability in outdoor conditions. Galaxy A56 5G has Exynos 1580 chipset, in addition, Galaxy A36 5G runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform.
