Realme is preparing to launch its latest device, the Realme Neo 7, in China on December 11, following the success of its flagship GT 7 series. Ahead of the release, the company has started revealing key details about the upcoming smartphone, which promises to feature a massive 7000mAh battery and advanced charging capabilities.
A standout feature of the Realme Neo 7 is its new Titan battery technology, developed in collaboration with Ningde New Energy (CATL). This innovation is designed to offer higher energy density while keeping the device lightweight. The Neo 7 will also support 80W fast charging, making it a powerful contender in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Though Realme has yet to fully disclose the Neo 7’s complete specifications, there are several expected features based on rumors and leaks. The smartphone is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, providing improved performance and efficiency. Additionally, the Realme Neo 7 will likely showcase an AMOLED display, offering vibrant visuals within a slim 8.5mm body. The Neo 7 will continue Realme’s trend of delivering high-quality displays, following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 6, which featured a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel.
In terms of battery life, the Neo 7 is set to outpace its predecessor with a larger 7000mAh battery, offering more screen time and longer-lasting performance. The Realme GT Neo 6, in comparison, carried a 5500mAh battery but impressed with its 120W fast charging support. While Realme has not officially confirmed the full specifications of the Neo 7, the combination of its massive battery and rapid charging capabilities positions it as a strong choice for those prioritizing battery life.
Pricing for the Realme Neo 7 is expected to be in the mid-range category, similar to its predecessor. In China, the base model is speculated to be priced around CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 29,100). For reference, the Realme GT Neo 6 debuted at CNY 2,099 (around Rs 22,000). The device’s India launch date and pricing remain unclear, but it is likely to follow the launch in China by several weeks or months.
