OPPO is set to unveil its latest mid-range smartphone series, the OPPO F29 lineup, in India today. The series includes the OPPO F29 5G and OPPO F29 Pro 5G, both featuring advanced durability and competitive hardware specifications.
The OPPO F29 series will be officially introduced at 12 p.m. IST. Following the announcement, both models will be available for purchase via Amazon, OPPO’s official website, and offline retail partners across India.
Market expectations indicate that the OPPO F29 5G could be priced under Rs 25,000, while the OPPO F29 Pro 5G may start at under Rs 30,000. Official pricing will be disclosed at the launch event.
The OPPO F29 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and a 6,500mAh battery supporting 45W wired fast charging. Engineered for durability, the device incorporates a 360-degree Armour Body construction.
The smartphone features an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating, offering water and dust resistance alongside a dedicated 'Underwater Photography' mode. It will be available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue color options. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, enhanced by AI capabilities.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, the OPPO F29 Pro 5G features a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. The device retains the 360-degree Armour Body for added protection.
Like its counterpart, the OPPO F29 Pro 5G carries an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating, enabling water and dust resistance. It supports the 'Underwater Photography' mode and comes in Marble White and Granite Black finishes. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by AI enhancements.
Both models in the OPPO F29 series include advanced connectivity options, ensuring seamless user experience. Additional software and hardware optimizations will be detailed during the launch event.
