OnePlus 13T Compact Flagship May Launch in April

OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to introduce a compact smartphone as part of its upcoming flagship 13 series. According to a report by 9To5Google, the device, expected to be named the "OnePlus 13T," will feature a 6.3-inch display and is set for an initial launch in China by late April. While there is no official confirmation regarding its global release, speculation suggests it may be marketed in other regions as the "OnePlus 13 Mini."

Industry sources indicate that OPPO is developing a similar compact flagship under its Find X8 lineup. The model, anticipated to be called the "Find X8s," is rumored to have a 6.32-inch display and share several specifications with the OnePlus 13T.

The OnePlus 13T, or its potential global variant, is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display featuring a 1.5K resolution and LTPO technology, allowing a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same processor that runs the OnePlus 13 flagship.

Despite its smaller design, the device is expected to incorporate a 6,200mAh battery, surpassing the OnePlus 13’s 6,000mAh capacity. It is also expected to support 80W fast wired charging.

For imaging, the OnePlus 13T is speculated to include a dual-camera system at the back, featuring a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
