OnePlus appears to be expanding its OnePlus 13 series lineup, with leaks hinting at the upcoming OnePlus 13 Mini. Following the launch of the flagship OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R, reports indicate that a compact variant is in development. Key details regarding design, hardware, pricing, and release timeline have surfaced.
Speculation suggests that the OnePlus 13 Mini could debut in May or within the second quarter of 2025. If accurate, the device will likely be the most affordable smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset. The company has not yet confirmed the name officially.
Leaks indicate that the OnePlus 13 Mini will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera system may include a dual-lens setup, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. Unlike the circular camera module found in previous models, a horizontal bar-shaped module could be introduced.
Battery capacity is expected to be 6,000mAh, which would be significant given the compact design. Performance enhancements and software optimizations are also anticipated.
Pricing details remain speculative, but reports suggest the OnePlus 13 Mini could be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite-powered smartphone. The estimated cost is below CNY 3,099 (approximately Rs 37,000). However, it remains unclear if OnePlus will introduce this model in the Indian market. The company last launched a T-series device in India, the OnePlus 10T, in August 2022 at Rs 49,999.
