Nothing is preparing to unveil its latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, with sales beginning July 1 in India. This launch follows the Nothing Phone 2 debut in July 2022 and marks a significant design shift for the brand. The company has hinted at changes in the Phone 3’s design, notably moving away from its hallmark Glyph Interface.

A recent teaser shared by Nothing on X (formerly Twitter) highlights the phrase "ultra-precise engineering" alongside a glimpse of the phone’s rear. The image reveals a dual-tone finish featuring distinct lines and cuts, representing a clear break from the previous model's signature lighting design. The omission of the Glyph Interface, which used to be a standout feature, confirms the company’s new design direction.

The Nothing Phone 3 will be sold in India through Flipkart. Leaks suggest the device will house a powerful processor and a battery capacity exceeding 5,000mAh, promising extended usage. The phone is also expected to sport a triple camera system on the back, including a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.

Founder Carl Pei has indicated a likely price point near £800 (roughly Rs 90,000), a substantial increase compared to the Nothing Phone 2’s original price of Rs 44,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

In addition to the flagship Phone 3, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF recently introduced the Phone 2 Pro, positioned as a budget-friendly option. This new model offers a triple-camera setup reminiscent of the Phone 3a series. It boasts features such as a 5,000mAh battery and IP54 water resistance rating, enhancing its durability.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB. A notable upgrade from its predecessor is the redesigned removable back panel, providing users with easier access to internal components.
