iQOO's flagship smartphone, the iQOO 13, is set to launch in China next month, with plans for a global rollout later in the year. Ahead of the launch, the device has appeared on several certification websites, including IMEI, confirming its model number as I2401.
Expected Specifications for iQOO 13
One of the most anticipated features of the iQOO 13 is the integration of Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor (or Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite). Additionally, new leaks indicate that the smartphone may also include iQOO's own Q2 supercomputing chip to enhance gaming performance.
iQOO first introduced its Q1 supercomputing chip with the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and if this leak proves accurate, it would mark the second instance of iQOO utilising a dedicated gaming chip in its smartphones.
The iQOO 13 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
In terms of photography, the device is rumoured to have a triple-camera setup on the back, comprising a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, there could be a 32MP front-facing camera.
The iQOO 13 is anticipated to come with a significant battery upgrade, increasing from the 5,000mAh battery found in its predecessor to a robust 6,150mAh battery, featuring support for 120W fast charging.
Moreover, the iQOO 13 is expected to include a new ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, along with a premium metal frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
