Apple May Postpone iPhone SE 4 Launch to Next Week, M4 MacBook Air Coming Soon

Apple is reportedly preparing for a wave of product launches, with the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4 and M4-powered MacBook Air models expected to take centre stage. The company is said to be planning a small announcement this week, followed by another one before the weekend. These announcements could include updates for the Apple Vision Pro or the debut of the iPad 11 (2025).

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg previously hinted at the imminent launch of the iPhone SE 4 in his Power On newsletter. In a new post on X, he revealed further details about Apple's upcoming plans, suggesting that the iPhone SE 4 could be unveiled next week during a product briefing, with two announcements set to precede it this week.

Though specifics on the upcoming launches are scarce, speculation is rife that Apple may unveil the iPad 11 (2025) and an upgraded Apple Vision Pro with new Apple Intelligence features this week, followed by the launch of the iPhone SE 4 later this month. Additionally, Gurman mentioned that an M4-powered MacBook Air will also be introduced in the coming weeks.

Apple iPhone SE 4: Expected Specifications

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to shift from the traditional small form factor of its predecessor and adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14. The budget-friendly phone is likely to replace the Touch ID home button with Face ID and feature a larger 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The device will reportedly house a 48MP rear camera and be powered by the latest Apple A18 chip, coupled with 8GB of RAM, and will likely come with Apple Intelligence features straight out of the box.
