Esconet Tech secures orders from MeitY-run agency NICSI and CE Info Systems

The orders are cumulatively valued at Rs. 9 crore.

Mumbai, Feb 05:Esconet Technologies Limited, a leading homegrown integrated IT solutions company, announced that it has secured orders from the National Informatics Centre Services Inc (NICSI), a Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) agency, and CE Info Systems, also known as MapMyIndia, which operates a popular navigation application called ‘Mappls’. The orders are cumulatively valued at Rs. 9 crore.

The IPO-bound company will be delivering servers and object storage for Immigration Visa Foreigner Registration Tracking application of FRRO, a Ministry of External Affairs agency. The order has been received through the National Informatics Centre Services Inc (NICSI), a Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) entity. The cutting-edge servers and object storage will transform the user experience and provide seamless access to the e-FRRO service. e-FRRO is a web-based application aimed at building a centralized online platform for foreigners for visa-related services. It provides faceless, cashless and paperless services to foreigners with a swift and user-friendly experience.

In a separate order, Esconet will establish a private cloud for CE Infosystems, which will start functioning before March 31, 2024. With a capacity of 576 Virtual Cores, 6 TB RAM memory, 354 TB of data storage and 600 Gbps of network bandwidth, the private cloud will process the company’s captured raw GIS data and transfer it to the public cloud platforms to serve its customers with a smoother navigating experience. The built-in security of the private cloud platform ensures the safety and security of the company’s intellectual property. The agility of the cloud provides faster and timely updates to the end users.
