Apple may replace 'Pro Max' with 'Ultra' for iPhone 17

Apple might be shaking up its naming strategy for the next-generation iPhone! According to a recent leak from yeux1122 on Naver, the company could replace the 'Pro Max' branding with 'Ultra' for its top-tier iPhone 17 model.
The rumor, based on sources from Weibo, Taiwan, U.S. investment reports, and Apple’s supply chain trends, also suggests some exciting new features exclusive to the Ultra model:
Smaller Dynamic Island – A more compact version of Apple’s interactive cutout, but only on the Ultra.
Vapor Chamber Cooling – A new cooling system that could improve performance, confirmed by supply chain insiders.
Larger Battery – A bigger battery means more power, but it also results in a slightly thicker design.
Beyond this, Apple may introduce a new model called the iPhone 17 Air, creating a clearer distinction in its lineup. If these rumors hold, Apple’s 2025 lineup might include:
iPhone 17
iPhone 17 Air
iPhone 17 Pro
iPhone 17 Ultra
