SpaceX Captures Historic First Glimpse of Earth's Poles from Space, Elon Musk Reacts
The SpaceX Crew Dragon Resilience is providing the crew with breathtaking views of some of the most remote areas on our planet.
The first humans to orbit Earth over the North Pole and South Pole are sharing breathtaking images of their historic spaceflight. SpaceX's Fram2 private mission launched Monday, March 31. It sent four spaceflight beginners into an unprecedented polar elliptical orbit. Fram2 launched at 9:46 pm EDT (0146 GMT April 1), and reached low SpaceX polar orbit within 10 minutes. Resilience, after separating from Falcon 9, continued its pioneering journey. Fram2 mission is now uploading amazing photos taken from its extraordinary vantage point. These images offer a glimpse of the beauty and awe that our planet has to offer. These images offer a regard of the beauty and admiration that our earth has to offer.

Elon Musk, a billionaire, wrote in Elon Musk reaction to the video: "This is the very first time that humans have orbited around the poles on Earth!"
Chun Wang is the Maltese entrepreneur, cryptocurrency mogul and leader of the Fram2 mission team. The Fram2 mission is named after the original Fram, which was the first ship to reach the Earth's poles in the 1800s. The crew, which includes Jannicke Mikkelsen cinematographer, Rabea Rgge, and Eric Phillips, from Australia and Germany, will conduct several experiments while observing and analyzing the poles.
Fram2 is expected to take between two and four days. During this time, the crew will perform over 22 experiments while observing the polar regions imagery in low Earth orbit. The Resilience spacecraft, which is a first among SpaceX Crew Dragon mission for the company, will splash down into the Pacific Ocean after completing its mission. The flight program for the mission is 86 hours long, with an expected return to Earth scheduled on April 4.
