The government welcomes everyone to the City of the Future. We invite all to join us in making the Future City as a prominent AI hub in the world”.
Reddy further said that the summit is being held today to lay a strong foundation for the city’s future in the field of AI. The State government has already taken a slew of measures for tapping artificial intelligence.
Reddy, clarifying doubts surrounding AI, said that apprehensions and uncertainty are common when a new technology is invented. During the event, the State government launched the logo of the AI city, a state-of-the-art 200- acre facility which will host offices for global corporations, innovative startups, leading investors, and cutting-edge research centers. The government has mentioned incentivising companies, which will establish their offices at the AI City, through tax breaks and infrastructure support. The City will feature co-working spaces, convention centres, and collaborative zones.
The government has also entered more than 24 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with academic institutions, tech companies, startups and not-for-profit organisations to enable the goals set by the government under the vision, ‘AI-powered Telangana.’
