Sensex Sheds 100pts, Nifty at 25,350

On Friday, the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 dropped when the market opened, even though they were close to record highs before trading started.
The Indian indices dropped due to a slightly higher inflation print than expected and an elevated Index of Industrial Production reading.
Sensex and Nifty were down by 0.25 percent and 0.24 percent, respectively.
The BSE Sensex was down 204 points at 82,758, while the NSE Nifty was up 60 points at 25,328.
Nifty Midcap, Metal, and Realty are trading in green.
Can Fin Homes, Muthoot Finance Manappuram Finance, Piramal Enterprises, and Wipro are the top gainers.
Motherson International Ltd., Godrej Consumer, Balrampur Chini, Berger Paints, and Colgate were the top losers on Nifty50.
