Tadepalli: YSRCP MLA from Yarragondapalem Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar slammed TDP Coalition Government for Its blatant lies and deception through the Governor's speech in State Assembly.
Speaking to media here on Monday, the MLA stated that the government falsely glorified their administration while criticizing the previous YSRCP government with unfounded claims.
He said the coalition government is using the Governor's speech to blame the previous administration and praise themselves, while completely ignoring pressing public issues. He criticised the government for not outlining their plans for the people.
Chandrasekhar asked TDP to answer the questions about the completion of Polavaram, the state's stance on special status, the construction of Amaravati as the capital, and the implementation of the much-publicised "Super Six" promises made before the elections. He highlighted the government's failure to implement promised schemes due to poor financial management and questioned the whereabouts of the ₹14,200 crore borrowed in the last month and demanded accountability for the funds.
Reacting to comments of Congress leader YS Sharmila, Chandrasekhar said Sharmila is consistently criticizing the YSRCP while failing to address the misdeeds of the coalition government. He said her comments on recent incidents are because of selective outrage and aligning with TDP's agenda. Chandrasekhar condemned YS Sharmila for drawing connections between the current violence and the past murder of Vivekananda Reddy, calling it a low point in political discourse.
