Vijayawada: Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath on Monday said come what may Visakhapatnam would become the executive capital next year.

"The administration will be done by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from Visakhapatnam from next year," he told the media at Tadepalli. The Minister said the government is committed to trifurcation of capital for decentralised development.

He said industrialisation of the State has remained top priority of the government and declared that despite pandemic they are getting more investments than the erstwhile TDP Government.

On the campaign vehicle of Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, he said as the colour is military green the rules in AP may not allow it. "He is known for changing his political colours," he stated.

He contested with TDP and BJP in 2014, tied up with BSP and communists in 2019, declared to remain independent and later aligned with BJP and declared united fight when he met TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.

The Minister said that changing colour of a vehicle is no big deal for the actor-turned-politician.
