Vande Bharat train makes trial run between Vizag, Secunderabad
Vande Bharat super fast train, which is equipped with ultra luxury facilities, has successfully completed a trial run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

Visakhapatnam: Vande Bharat super fast train, which is equipped with ultra luxury facilities, has successfully completed a trial run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.
This will be a Sankranti gift to the Telugu-speaking States. From time to time, the commuters can stay connected to the internet while being on-board in a relaxed environment. The train will be launched virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 15. It will open to commuters from January 19. Initially, it was proposed to operate it between Secunderabad and Vijayawada.
However, following persuasion made by BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao, representatives from the Railways and various organisations, the Centre decided to extend it up to Visakhapatnam.
