Trade Representatives From Vizag Meet Odisha Governor

Visakhapatnam: A delegation from The Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) representing a diverse set of industries visited interacted with the top leadership Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited (UCCIL) and Odisha Governor Dr. K. Haribabu during their visit to Bhubaneswar to explore promotion of business relationships of mutual interest. The Governor hosted both the delegations at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar for an extended series of discussions that touched upon several broad policy issues to numerous nitty-gritty details, overall to facilitate and improve robust trade relations between the two fastest-growing metro economies on India’s east coast. The Governor outlined several mutual strengths that can be leveraged between the states, and the role both chambers could play. He reiterated the lesser known strengths of Odisha, including rich mineral wealth, pro-growth policy and bureaucracy, vast network of higher educational institutions, and a focus on skill building, and said entrepreneurs must take advantage of all the incentives provided by the state.
