Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy initiated steps to address the grievances of people on the next day of assuming the CM office. CM Revanth Reddy held Praja Darbar at the official residence of Chief Minister - Jyothiba Phule Bhavan today ( Friday). The Chief Minister gave priority to differently-abled by enquiring about their plights and receiving applications from them. The CM enquired thoroughly about the problems being faced by people who came to Praja Darbar in large numbers and their pleas on various issues for government help and assured them that immediate measures would be taken to address the people's grievances.
State Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Danasari Anasuya (Sitakka) are also present at Praja Darbar.
The Chief Minister left for the Secretariat to attend an emergency meeting. Later, Minister Smt Sitakka received grievance applications from everyone. The State Government made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of Praja Darbar. CMO Special Chief Secretary Seshadri, DGP Ravi Gupta, Metro Water Works ( Jalamandali) MD Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep, Musharraf and other officials coordinated the conduct of Praja Darbar.
15 desks have been opened for grievance registration. A special mechanism has been developed to register the petitions online and issue a unique Grievance Number (ID generated) to each petition. A printed acknowledgement will be given to the applicant along with an SMS acknowledgement. 320 seats have been arranged for people to sit inside the Praja Darbar. Queue lines are also set up outside. A roof arrangement is also made on queue lines to accommodate the seating arrangement of the people comfortably without being affected by heat. Safe drinking water and other facilities are also provided to those who are waiting at the entrance and in the Praja Darbar hall. The first day of CM's Praja Darbar received an extremely good response as people came from not only Hyderabad but also from all districts.
