T’gana Govt To Launch Digital Family Card Pilot From Oct 3
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed the officials to take up the process for the issuance of digital family cards at the field level on a pilot basis in all 119 Assembly constituencies in an effective manner.
During a high-level review meeting at the State secretariat on Monday, officials briefed the CM on the progress of the project, confirming the selection of villages, wards, and divisions for field-level inspections. In response to the CM’s inquiry about the timeline, officials stated that the field visits would be conducted from October 3 to October 7 to ensure effective implementation.
Chief Minister suggested selecting one urban and one rural area within each constituency for this project. If a constituency is entirely urban, two wards/divisions should be chosen; if it is entirely rural, two villages should be selected, resulting in a total of 238 areas for field-level inspection. The CM suggested increasing the number of field visit teams in the wards and divisions in view of the high density of population in the particular area.
