TDP MLA Ganta resigns over RINL privatisation

Visakhapatnam, February 6, TDP MLA from Vizag and former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Saturday sprang a surprise by resigning from Assembly membership to register his protest against Centre's decision to privatise Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited.

He is the first elected representative to resign over privatization issue a day after he expressed his ire in social media posts. For quite sometime he has been distancing from TDP programmes. There were reports that he will be joining YSRCP bandwagon.
