Hyderabad: State IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao continues his quest to usher in more investments into Telangana by touring the US. After a whirlwind activity in New York, he held successive meetings with companies from various sectors, in Washington DC.
3M Health Information Systems (HIS), a world-renowned leader in healthcare transformation and ECLAT Health Solutions, a leading provider in healthcare support services have signed an agreement allowing ECLAT to provide medical coding and clinical documentation services to 3M customers.
As a result of this partnership, ECLAT has decided to establish a dedicated operations center in Karimnagar, Telangana employing about 100 people in the near term with a potential to grow to 200 people. The announcement was made after the leadership team of 3M and ECLAT met the minister.
Additional opportunities for collaboration between Government of Telangana and 3M & ECLAT including improvement in healthcare delivery, technology platforms for population health, medical devices R&D and manufacturing were also discussed during the meeting.
