Hyderabad: Sri City, a special economic zone and integrated business city in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday witnessed the visit of Wonjae UHM, Deputy Consul General of Republic of Korea in Chennai, to assess the industrial park's business potential and witness its existing infrastructure. Jihwan EUN, DG and Taewan Kim, Certified Customs Attorney of the Chennai-based Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), a non-profit organisation working within the aegis of Embassy of the Republic of Korea, were also present.
Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City present during the diplomats visit highlighted the infrastructure, features and pace of development in Sri City. He drew their attention on the available investment options and financial incentives, in different sectors from the State and Central governments, and specific advantage of locating production units in Sri City.
"We are honoured for the attention paid by Wonjae UHM in knowing more about Sri City. We are confident that his observations, which are encouraging, would pave way for more business investments from South Korea," Sannareddy said.
