PM Modi to confer awards for excellence in public admin today

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Public Administration on the occasion of Civil Services Day on April 21. Organized on the occasion of Civil Services Day, this will inspire civil servants in nation building. Prime Minister Modi will address civil servants on the occasion at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister has always appreciated the contribution of civil servants in nation building and motivated them to work harder. The event will be an apt occasion to inspire the civil servants especially during Amrit Kaal.
It is a matter of jubilation for Madhya Pradesh that Burhanpur district's initiative to ensure availability of clean water through Har Ghar Jal Yojana has got national recognition.
A source familiar with the development told Bizz Buzz, “The award have been instituted to recognize the extraordinary and innovative works done by the districts and organizations of the Central and State Governments for the larger welfare of the common citizens.”
An award will also be conferred on Anurag Jain, Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India, for Covid-19, vaccine and PM Gati Shakti in the innovation centre, he said.
Gujarat will be recognised as Innovation State. The award for innovation district will also be given to Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, Changlan district of Arunachal Pradesh and Sholapur district of Maharashtra state.
Bhavya Mittal, Collector of Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh will get the Award for Har Ghar Jal Yojana under promotion of clean water. Kanchipur district of Tamil Nadu will be awarded for promoting healthy India through health and wellness centre, Latur of Maharashtra and Anakapalli of Andhra Pradesh will be awarded for integrated education ensuring inclusive education and classroom atmosphere for quality education. Chitrakoot of UP and Mehsana of Gujrat will be recognised for integrated development through aspirational district programme while Baramula of Jammu and Kashmir and Gumla of Jharkhand will also get the award for promoting holistic development.
