Pawan launches Varahi 3.0 in Vizag amid rousing reception

Visakhapatnam Jana Sena Party president and Tollywood actor K Pawan Kalyan on Thursday launched the third phase of Varahi Vijaya Yatra here. On arrival scores of Jana Sainiks and supporters greeted him lustily amid slogans that he would be the next Chief Minister.
He told supporters that he would not keep silent till the removal of 'corrupt and incompetent' YSRCP Government. Though he was supposed to go via NAD Junction to Daspalla Hotel from the airport, the police diverted his convoy through Panchavati Junction and Port Connectivity Road.
During his 10-day stay, he will undertake widely publicised Janavani program to interact with the public on their grievances. Earlier, the scheduled launching of Janavani here was deferred indefinitely following denial of permission by the police and his detention at a five star hotel on October 15. This subsequently led to his joining hands with TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu to fight against the YSRCP Government.
Jana Sena still continues to be in NDA and Pawan Kalyan of late has been talking about United fight by the Opposition parties to dislodge YSRCP Government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The BJP is maintaining silence over probability of joining hands with the TDP, which walked out of NDA coalition in 2018.
A tense atmosphere prevails in the city, proposed to be made the executive capital as Naidu is also camping in North Andhra to expose negligence in taking up irrigation projects by the YSRCP Government.
