NSTL holds open house for students
On the occasion of National Technology Day Celebrations 2023 (NTDC-2023), Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) organised an open house for students here on Tuesday.
Visakhapatnam: On the occasion of National Technology Day Celebrations 2023 (NTDC-2023), Naval Science and Technological Laboratory (NSTL) organised an open house for students here on Tuesday. NSTL, a premier DRDO lab displayed its products and gave a multimedia presentation on its technologies for college and high school. The programme will continue on Wednesday.
A competition on models/ exhibits with a theme “Integrated approach in science and technology for sustainable future” was also organised.
As many as 91 models were received from 10 schools and 12 colleges and out of them, 43 models were selected for display in the open house. Winners will be awarded prizes on Wednesday.
Dr Y Sreenivas Rao, Outstanding Scientist and Director, NSTL inaugurated the open house and went around the exhibits put up by the students and asked them about the working models displayed by them. He was impressed by the innovative thoughts of the students. Later he appreciated the school and college students who had done exceedingly well in the competition and narrated them as ‘future world-class scientists’.
