Naidu hails SC verdict on SC, ST sub-categorisation

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday hailed the Supreme Court’s landmark verduct on State’s prerogative for sub-categorisation of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Speaking at a meeting at Srisailam, he said he was credited with introduction of sub-categorisation for SCs as the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. Due to court challenges it could not be implemented.
