TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh, who has entered Yelamanchili constituency in Anakapalle district as part of Yuva Galam padayatra on Thursday expressed deep anguish over failure of YSRCP government in issuing annual job calendars ever since it assumed power in 2019.
In a letter to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said, “If you may recollect, you have promised an annual job calendar to the unemployed youth of Andhra Pradesh as the Leader of Opposition. Much to the chagrin of the people of Andhra Pradesh, you have resorted to broad daylight cheating of the unemployed youth. It is not only your failure to issue an annual job calendar consecutively for four years, but you have also robbed the youth of this State of their dreams and future.”
In the letter, which was dashed off to the media, Lokesh said since elections are round the corner, it seems the Chief Minister and his government have woken up abruptly from deep slumber for four and half years and are trying to again cheat the youth of Andhra Pradesh in the name of last minute notifications for Group I and Group II. Sadly, he alleged that several of the unemployed blindly trusted Jagan Mohan Reddy for which they were rewarded by failure to keep the pre-poll promise.
