LG India contributes to mid-day meals program
As part of its CSR activity, LG pledges to support Akshaya Patra foundation in India’s fight against hunger

HYDERABAD: LG Electronics, India's leading consumer durable brand in partnership with Akshaya Patra Foundation, recently contributed for mid-day meals of 2000 students in Hyderabad in the presence of Education Minister, Patlolla Sabitha Indra Reddy.
Reaffirming its commitment towards people of India, LG continues to make meaningful CSR interventions to help the community in every possible aspect. This year, LG has pledged to support India's fight against hunger by supporting mid-day meals of 33,334 students across India to ensure nutrition and their right to education. Several top executives of LG Electronics India attended the ceremony with Akshayapatra officials.
K Sasi Kiran Rao, Regional Business Head (Telangana), LG Electronics India, said: "We believe in helping and supporting the Government, citizens of India and have been aligning our CSR endeavors accordingly. LG India supports the Akshaya Patra Foundation by contributing to India's fight against hunger. Through this initiative, we ensure that students get proper nutrition and education. This is to help those in need and LG will keep on contributing to the society in a positive way."
