Grene Robotics acquires Apogee C4I’s deep-tech IP
City-based autonomous robotics company, Grene Robotics on Tuesday said it has completed the acquisition process of C4ISRT platform from Apogee C4I LLP, a defence technology company.
Hyderabad: City-based autonomous robotics company, Grene Robotics on Tuesday said it has completed the acquisition process of C4ISRT platform from Apogee C4I LLP, a defence technology company.
In 2021, Grene Robotics introduced a comprehensive drone defence system – Indrajaal. To further bolster Indrajaal’s capabilities, Grene Robotics said it acquired deep tech IP which will enhance its drone and anti-drone defence programme.
Indrajaal has the ability to cover up to 4,000 sq km per system. The system defends against various low RCS threats, including medium and high-altitude long endurance UAVs, loitering ammunition, smart bombs, rocket showers, nano and micro drones, swarm drones, and more.
Vamsi Vellanki, Executive Director - Finance and Investments said, “We expect this acquisition to significantly increase shareholder value and drive the company’s growth. Indrajaal can provide a comprehensive framework to defend against all classifications and all levels of autonomous drones. The global anti-drone market is projected to reach $12.6 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 27.65 per cent from 2022 to 2030.
