GoM finalises flood relief Plan in AP

Vijayawada: The Group of Ministers formed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday discussed how the government should help the flood victims, especially the distribution of essential commodities. The GoM comprising Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Agriculture Minister K Atchannaidu, Housing and Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy, Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar along with officials met at the Vijayawada Collectorate and finalised to launch the distribution on Friday on a war-footing.

The Ministers directed the officials to use revenue, municipal and village secretariat staff to provide assistance to the victims.

Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, Special Chief Secretary MAUD Anil Kumar Singhal, Special Chief Secretary Agriculture B Rajasekhar, Special Chief Secretary Medical and Health MT Krishna Babu, CM Secretary Pradyumna, NTR District Collector G Srijana, MP of Vijayawada Kesineni Chinni, MLA Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao and others participated.
